Turn meeting notes into an action list
Leave every meeting knowing exactly who's doing what, and by when.
Great for the car or while you work
Meetings end, everyone nods, and a week later nothing has moved. This playbook turns your rough notes or a transcript into a summary, a list of decisions and an action table, plus a follow-up email.
The steps.
Step 1. Grab your notes or the meeting transcript straight after the meeting.
Step 2. Paste them in with the prompt below.
Step 3. Check that the owners and due dates are right. Fix anything it guessed.
Step 4. Send the follow-up email to everyone who attended.
Step 5. Review the action table at the start of your next meeting.
Here is the prompt to copy and paste. Here are my meeting notes/transcript. Produce: a 3-line summary, decisions made, and an action table (task, owner, due date). Then a short follow-up email to attendees.
Before you send.
Always check figures, GST and dates yourself. For tax, legal or employment rules, confirm with the ATO, Fair Work or your accountant. This is general information, not advice.
A meeting is only as useful as the list it leaves behind.
