Turn a phone call into a polished quote

Go from scribbled call notes to a clear, professional quote you're happy to send.

You've just hung up with a new customer and your notes are half-sentences on the back of an envelope. This playbook turns those notes into a tidy quote with scope, line items and GST, while the job is still fresh in your mind.

The steps.

Step 1. Write down everything from the call straight away: what they want, where, when, and any limits on budget or timing.

Step 2. Remove private details like bank numbers or TFNs from your notes.

Step 3. Paste your notes into your agent or helper app using the prompt below.

Step 4. Check every price, the GST and the dates, then add anything the draft flagged as unpriced.

Step 5. Save the final version as your quote template for next time.

Here is the prompt to copy and paste. Here are my notes from a customer call. Write a clear quote for business name in Australian English. Include a scope of work, itemised prices excluding GST, GST at 10%, total including GST, validity of 30 days, and payment terms of terms. Flag anything I haven't priced.
